Cancer (Oncology)
Virtua collaborates with Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia to provide services through the Virtua Fox Chase Cancer Program. The program offers comprehensive preventative, diagnostic, treatment and support services for people with cancer and is accredited by the American College of Surgeons (ACoS) Commission on Cancer.
Cardiovascular Health
Virtua is a leader in cardiac admissions and the top performer in the Delaware Valley for cardiac medication indicators. Virtua's chest pain protocols enable rapid identification of the causes of chest pain and provide prompt, high-quality care to all patients. In addition, state-of-the- art, invasive cardiac catheterization labs provide full-service diagnostic catheterizations as well as angioplasty and stenting for acute myocardial infarctions (heart attacks).
Children's Health (Pediatrics)
Virtua and the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children have collaborated to offer the Virtua/duPont Children's Health Program. Board-certified pediatricians, family medicine physicians and pediatric specialists provide comprehensive pediatric and subspecialty services including allergy and immunology, anesthesia, cardiology, critical care, neonatology, neurology, gastroenterology, orthopaedics, surgery, urology and more.
Neurosciences
Virtua offers a range of services to diagnose and treat neurological conditions such as strokes, seizures, brain injuries, headaches, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and multiple sclerosis. The stroke program at Virtua Memorial is accredited by the Joint Commission, and all four Virtua hospitals are designated Primary Stroke Centers by the N.J. Department of Health.
Orthopaedics
Virtua's comprehensive orthopaedic program is part of Virtua Musculoskeletal Institute and is led by a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, together with specialized orthopaedic nurses, physical therapists and case managers. The program emphasizes the most current minimally invasive techniques and includes total and partial joint replacement, spine surgery, sports medicine, arthroscopic shoulder surgery, knee surgery, wrist and hand surgery, foot and ankle surgery, hand surgery and fracture care.
Surgery
Virtua surgeons have performed thousands of surgeries in a wide range of specialties including colorectal, ENT, gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, plastic and cosmetic, podiatry, spine, thoracic, urology and vascular surgery. Virtua surgeons utilize the most sophisticated equipment, advanced technology and the latest surgical techniques to provide a full range of emergency and elective surgical procedures and advanced minimally invasive and traditional approaches.

Virtua is a leader in delivering health and wellness education and training to patients, employees and the community. Women's Health (Obstetrics and Gynecology
Virtua is South Jersey's leading provider of obstetric and gynecologic care for women of all ages: from routine, yearly gynecological exams, menopause counseling and pregnancy care to specialized services for treating infertility, uterine fibroids and gynecologic cancer.
In addition, Virtua delivers more than 7,600 babies annually and is a state-designated Regional Perinatal Center, providing the highest level of care for mothers and babies.
