Want to be a dental x-ray technician?

Dental X-Ray Technician Certification course combines classroom instruction (25 hours), laboratory instruction (15 hours) and clinical instruction in a private dental office (30 hours). Want to become an EKG/cardiovascular technician?

This comprehensive 50 hour program, offered in cooperation with Condensed Curriculum International, prepares students to become EKG technicians and to take the American Society of Phlebotomy Technician (ASPT), Electrocardiograph (EKG) Technician exam and other national certification exams. This program includes important practice and background information on anatomy of the heart and physiology, medical disease processes, medical terminology, medical ethics, legal aspects of patient contact and laboratory assisting. Want to be a pharmacy technician?

This 50 hour course, offered in cooperation with Condensed Curriculum International, prepares you to to enter the pharmacy field and to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board's PTCB exam. Topics include medical terminology, interpreting prescriptions, defining drugs by generic and brand names, dosage calculations, IV flow rates, drug compounding, dose conversions, dispensing of prescriptions, inventory control, billing and reimbursement. Want to be a phlebotomy technician?

Phlebotomy technicians (or phlebotomists) are responsible for blood specimen collection and are important members of the health care team. BCC and Virtua Memorial are developing a Phlebotomy Technician Program designed to meet the standards prescribed by the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians.
