Virtua – The Cardiology Group provides the highest level of cardiac care available to patients over age 18.
The founding physicians of the practice have been serving patients in the South Jersey region since 1970. Offices are conveniently located throughout Burlington County, in Moorestown, Columbus and Medford, NJ. The Cardiologists also follow their patients and perform inpatient consultations and testing at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly.
Virtua – The Cardiology Group consists of 13 medical and interventional cardiologists who are certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiovascular diseases. Most hold additional sub-specialty certifications in nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. They are all Fellows of The American College of Cardiology (FACC).
Virtua – The Cardiology Group physicians specialize in both medical and interventional cardiology. Medical cardiology services include the diagnosis and treatment of patient conditions such as coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation and valvular heart disease. Interventional cardiology services include catheter based treatment of heart diseases such as cardiac catheterization, angioplasty and stenting.

Virtua – The Cardiology Group is the only Cardiology Group in the region to offer EECP. EECP (Enhanced External Counterpulsation) is a non-surgical treatment for angina & coronary artery disease. It is an alternative to bypass surgery and angioplasty. It works by stimulating the opening or formation of small blood vessels (collaterals) to create natural bypasses around narrowed or blocked arteries.
