The Virtua Wound Healing Centers are located on the campus of Virtua Berlin and at Virtua’s Health and Wellness Center in Washington Township. Comprehensive wound care and prevention services are provided in comfortable outpatient facilities.
The Centers are staffed with experts devoted exclusively to wound healing therapies and treatments. The Berlin Wound Healing Center offers hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which allows patients to breathe in a greater amount of pure oxygen than they normally would. Oxygen helps to improve blood supply, which generates healthy tissue. In turn, the healthy tissue supports faster, deeper wound healing.
