Department of Pharmacy Residency Program

Purpose: Upon completion of the Virtua Pharmacy Residency Program graduates will be qualified for positions including PGY-2 resident, clinical pharmacist, and inpatient pharmacist. In addition, residency training will prepare the clinician to become a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS).

Pinaki Shah and Jennifer Premus

Shah
Pinaki Shah, Pharm.D. is from Marlton, New Jersey. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy in May 2014. Her professional interests include pediatrics, neonatal medicine, critical care, and teaching. Following her pharmacy practice residency, Pinaki plans to further her training through a specialty residency in pediatrics. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, performing and teaching with a dance company, and discovering new restaurants. Pinaki would like to thank her family, friends and mentors for their continued support and encouragement.
Premus Jennifer Premus, Pharm.D. is originally from Staten Island, New York. She earned a Doctorate of Pharmacy from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy in May 2014. Jennifer’s professional interests include internal medicine, cardiology, and ambulatory care. Upon completion of her pharmacy practice residency, she plans to pursue a PGY2 specialty residency. Her ultimate goal is to practice as a clinical pharmacist in a setting where she can focus on patient care and provide education to interdisciplinary teams. In her free time Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling to new places, and reading a good book.
