Childbirth Education

Is registration required, or can I just walk into a class?

Yes, registration is required; walk-ins are not permitted. We limit the size of our classes to promote an optimal learning experience. We also need to prepare materials for each participant in advance. To register, please call toll-free 1-888-VIRTUA-3 (1-888-847-8823).

Will my insurance provider cover class costs?

Contact your insurance provider for details. You will receive a receipt in the mail that you may submit for reimbursement to your insurance provider.

I have a hectic schedule – how will I ever find time for classes?

We offer a variety of classes both during the week and on weekends to accommodate your schedule, and we offer an online childbirth class. Many of the same programs are also offered at multiple sites.

How far in advance should I register for classes?

In order to get the widest selection of dates from which to choose, you should register as early as possible in your pregnancy.

Where are the classes held?

Most of our classes are held at the Conference Center at Virtua Memorial in Mount Holly, the Barry D. Brown Health Education Center at Virtua Voorhees, the William G. Rohrer Center for Health Fitness in Voorhees, or Destination Maternity at the Garden State Market Place in Cherry Hill.

Will I get a refund if I cancel my registration?

We adhere to a strict no refund policy.
