Healthcare is more than helping the sick or injured get better; it’s also about prevention and wellness and keeping people out of the hospital. The 300,000-square-foot Health and Wellness Center provides a variety of services to help people get well and stay well. With the hospital and the Health and Wellness Center in one location, patients have easy access to the full-spectrum of healthcare services.
The Health and Wellness Center opened on March 5, 2012, with an initial group of services. When the building is complete, patients will have easy access to physician offices, specialty services like same-day surgery, a pharmacy, community meeting space, a retail shop and more. The building address is 200 Bowman Drive. It’s the newest addition to the Virtua Voorhees campus which is located off of Route 73.
