Virtua Health & Wellness Center opens in Moorestown
The eagerly anticipated Virtua Health & Wellness Center at 401 Young Avenue in Moorestown is scheduled to open the doors of its Health Fitness Center on December 3, 2012. Other Health & Wellness Center services will open as the month progresses. This Center is the result of Virtua’s initiative to improve the community’s access to healthcare services in South Jersey and the region, adding to existing Virtua services in Burlington County that include Virtua Memorial hospital in Mt. Holly, Virtua Marlton hospital, outpatient services and a rehabilitation center.

The Virtua Health & Wellness Center – Moorestown includes an Urgent Care Center that provides timely and convenient treatment of minor, unexpected injuries and illnesses; a fitness center with the latest weight training and cardio equipment, four pools and an array of fitness classes; Virtua in Motion physical therapy and rehabilitation; outpatient nutrition and diabetes management programs; physician offices providing an array of services including primary care, orthopedics and cardiology and a vir tú spa.
The Center will also offer cardiac rehabilitation, diagnostic radiology and women’s imaging services such as mammography and ultrasound. The Center also houses a grab-and-go café and conference space.
Virtua’s Access Center and Patient Navigators are able to schedule physician and diagnostic appointments, register for wellness programs and classes and provide a complete patient itinerary to guide them easily through the process. The Virtua Health & Wellness Center – Moorestown provides the residents of Burlington County with easy access to their physicians, medical treatments, fitness and personal services all on one campus and all close to home.
