Virtua celebrates topping off ceremony in Moorestown

The final steel beam placement at the new Virtua Health & Wellness Center in Moorestown was recently commemorated with a Topping Off ceremony, which signifies the completion of structural steel installation. The event, an ironworker’s tradition, featured two traditional symbols attached to the beam: an American flag for patriotism and an evergreen tree as a symbol of good luck to the building’s occupants.
The Virtua Health & Wellness Center - Moorestown will be a state-of-the-art 200,000-square-foot building housing physician practices, immediate care center, rehabilitation facilities, lab services, imaging services, nutrition counseling, a fitness center and a day spa. It is located on 18 acres in Centerton Square at 401 Young Avenue in Moorestown.

Virtua Health & Wellness Center – Moorestown is slated to open to the community in the Fall of 2012.
