One building, many healthcare services
The Virtua Health and Wellness Center in Voorhees opened on March 5. Since then, services have opened and construction continues.
The first group of services that opened includes:
- Summit Surgical Center
- Virtua Center for Women
- Virtua Fox Chase Cancer Program (includes radiation oncology and other support services)
- Diagnostic Sleep Lab
- Outpatient laboratory and pre-admission testing
Since its opening the Diagnostic Sleep Lab has expanded its services. The Lab is now seeing pediatric patients in conjunction with The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). In addition, Urology for Children and The Center for Cancer and Hematologic Disease have also joined the list of offices now seeing patients in the Voorhees Health and Wellness Center.
The new Health & Wellness Center is located on the Virtua Voorhees campus. With both the hospital and the Health & Wellness Center in one location, patients now have easy access to a full-spectrum of healthcare services available at Virtua.
The next service to open in the Health & Wellness Center will be the CHOP Care Network Specialty Care Center at Virtua, which is slated to open May 21. The Specialty Care Center will include clinicians in the following specialties:
- Cardiology
- Gastroenterology
- Neonatology
- Neurology
- Occupational and physical therapy
- Orthopedics
- Pulmonology
This summer, several offices are scheduled to open in the Health and Wellness Center. Those include:
- Virtua Joint Replacement Institute
- Virtua Gynecologic Oncology Specialists
- Virtua Breast Specialty Care
- Virtua Neurosciences
- Virtua Cardiology Group
- Virtua Female Pelvic Medicine
- Virtua Pain and Spine
Other services will be added in the fall.
