Video: Community celebrates Moorestown open house
The Virtua Health & Wellness Center in Moorestown had been enthusiastically anticipated by the surrounding communities during construction of the 200,000-square-foot facility. On February 23, Virtua held an open house for individuals and families to see and experience all of the services and amenities offered at the Center.
The open house for the community was a day full of health screenings, tours, activities, demonstrations, contests, prizes, food and fun. The Pennsport Mummers String Band also stopped by to entertain the crowd with a special performance.
Virtua Urgent Care held a Teddy Bear Clinic for children. Vir tú Spa offered skin analysis and hand and arm massages, and Virtua in Motion sponsored fitness demonstrations including a Zumba flash mob.
Grand prizes were raffled off and included an iPad, Flyer’s box seats, Vir tú spa services and products and an annual 6-month and 3-month membership to the Virtua Center for Health Fitness.
Virtua physicians and medical staff were also available for health screenings which included blood pressure screenings, metabolic testing, BMI, knee joint assessments, and computerized breast cancer risk assessments.
