Traveling in style at Virtua Memorial
The workday commute just got a little brighter for employees at Memorial. Two new 18-passengar shuttle buses are sporting custom exterior wraps, GPS tracking and TV monitors.
The buses transport employees from Memorial’s satellite parking lot starting at 5:45 am until 9 pm. “The comfortable buses give employees a pleasant start to their day,” says Al Venturella, who’s been a driver at Memorial for 14 years and always greets his passengers with a smile.
The buses are outfitted with GPS tracking that allows employees who are returning to their cars to stay warm and dry inside the hospital until they see the bus approaching on the monitor. Virtua videos are also shown inside the buses to share health tips and keep employees informed of Virtua happenings.
