NFL alumni to coach at Virtua Football Clinics
Learn how to play like a pro - with the pros at Virtua's Football Training Clinics this summer. The expertise of Virtua's Center for Sports Medicine and Center for Athletic Performance combined with the talent and experience of NFL Veteran Fred Baxter and several of his NFL colleagues, promises to provide two top-notch football clinics for local athletes.
Camp sessions will include position-specific drills and fun competitions. The clinic for high school athletes will also provide individual analysis by certified trainers on balance, flexibility, speed and agility.
Participants will also learn about sports nutrition and proper training to avoid injuries.
High School Clinic for 9th to 12th graders
Date: June 30 and July 1
Time: 9 am to 4 pm
Lunch provided by Chick Fil-A
Junior High Camp for 6th to 8th graders
Date: June 27, 28 and 29
Time: 9 am to noon

Virtua's Center for Athletic Performance provides customized, sport-specific strength and conditioning training by certified trainers at Virtua's Centers for HealthFitness in Voorhees and Washington Township.
Baxter is a former NFL tight end with a 12-year career that includes playing for the New York Jets, the Chicago Bears and a Super Bowl victory while playing for the New England Patriots. He created the Fred Baxter Foundation to empower and support at-risk youth and their families. He also mentors young athletes at Virtua's Center for Athletic Performance.
