New Virtua Voorhees: Open May 22
Move day for the new Virtua Voorhees Hospital will take place Sunday, May 22.
Beginning 7 am, doors will open for new patients to receive care. All emergencies will be directed to the new hospital. Details have been coordinated with the entire medical community. Maternity patients ready to deliver prior to 7 am will be directed to the existing hospital. Those ready to deliver after 7 am will be directed to the new hospital.
During the move, patients from the existing Virtua Voorhees hospital on Evesham Road will be transported via ambulance with appropriate medical staff to the new hospital.
The 125-acre campus is located along Route 73, just off the intersection of Route 73 and Dutchtown Road. The official address of the new hospital is:
