Virtua Hosts Camden Community Day on September 20
On September 20, Virtua Camden will host Camden Community Day from 10 am to 2 pm at the Kyle Will Community Health Center's parking lot, located at 1000 Atlantic Avenue in Camden, NJ. Virtua Camden Community Day gives community members access to free health screenings, health information and community resources. But that's not all; it's also a fun and family-friendly day complete with entertainment, free refreshments and activities for kids. The rain date is September 27.
For the kids:
- Participate in Virtua's "Face off for Fitness" program with representatives from the Philadelphia Flyers and Phantoms organizations
- Meet members of the 76ers Dance Team between noon and 1 pm
- Enjoy the free moon bounce and pony rides
- Tour ambulance rigs and see fire and rescue equipment
For the whole family:
- Receive free health screenings provided by Virtua Camden for the following:
- Blood pressure
- Blood sugar
- Body mechanics and safe lifting
- Bone density
- Learn about Virtua services provided at the Virtua Health Camden Campus
- Find out about neighborhood improvements from the Liberty Park Neighbor's Association
- Talk to local organizations that serve the City of Camden
