Virtua named official orthopaedic provider of the Philadelphia Flyers
Virtua Health, South Jersey's largest health care provider, has been named the official orthopaedic provider of the Philadelphia Flyers. In addition to offering orthopaedic services to the team, Virtua will partner with the Flyers on numerous community initiatives promoting fitness, wellness and safety.

As part of the sponsorship with Comcast-Spectacor, owner and operator of the Flyers, Virtua physicians will discuss player injuries on Comcast SportsNet. Virtua will sponsor "Injury Updates" during televised Flyers games as well as the Community Teammates program, which honors people who make a difference. Flyers players will make appearances at Virtua facilities.

Virtua and Comcast-Spectacor already have a partnership that includes sponsorship of the Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees and the Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone in Pennsauken. A number of community programs have been held in these locations to promote sports safety.
