Desperate for assistance, Bernadette Burns of Erial looked up Virtua's number in her telephone book. "My husband had a procedure at Virtua Marlton earlier that week and he needed to have the temporary IV line removed from his chest, but I didn't know the doctor's name who performed the surgery," said Burns.
When she dialed 1-888-Virtua-3, Virtua call center service agent, Denise Campbell, greeted her and offered help. Denise called the surgical group at Marlton and even stayed on the line to make sure Burns and her husband, Robert, got the help they needed. Denise also gave Burns her direct number to call back in case she had any more concerns.
