Not everyone is a candidate for same-day knee surgery. You may be a candidate for same-day surgery if you are:
- A candidate for minimally invasive knee replacement
- Generally healthy
- Active and fit
- Age 55 to 65
- Free of cardiac disease, diabetes, or kidney disease
- Able to have someone drive you home after surgery
