ABOUT US
Virtua is a multi-hospital healthcare system headquartered in Marlton, NJ. Its mission is to deliver a world class patient experience through its programs of excellence in women's health, children's health, cancer/oncology, cardiovascular health, neurosciences, orthopaedics, surgery and wellness.
A non-profit organization, Virtua employs 7,900 clinical and administrative personnel and has 1,800 physicians as medical staff members. Virtua has distinguished itself as one of the first Six Sigma organizations in health care, as an early adopter of clinical and digital technologies, and for its innovative partnerships with nationally renowned organizations.
Virtua delivers nearly 7,600 babies a year at our hospitals in Mt. Holly
and Voorhees — more than any other healthcare organization in the region. Plus, we provide comprehensive neonatal intensive care for premature newborns, and a wide range of world-class pediatric specialty care through our Virtua/duPont Children's Health Program.
Through the Fox Chase Virtua Cancer Program, there is access to comprehensive treatment for all types of cancer, the latest technology, and national and regional cancer treatment and prevention studies. With five strategically located emergency centers, we handle more emergencies — and pediatric emergencies — than any other health system in South Jersey.
