Mission Statement
The mission of the Virtua MICU is to provide quality pre-hospital emergency medical care to all individuals of the communities it serves. MICU is dedicated to communicating our mission to employees and to the community through employees.

Vision Statement
The vision of MICU is to provide a system of pre-hospital advanced life support in the primary geographic area of Burlington and Camden Counties, and surrounding portions of Gloucester and Ocean Counties. All components of the MICU Department will promote values of continuous quality improvement, employee satisfaction, respect, service to patients, education and the highest standards of ethics.

The MICU Department will:

• Render superior advanced life support care to all who require it.
• Take an active role in integrating the branches of the region's emergency medical services.
• Offer a satisfying work environment, and promote collaboration and teamwork.
• Provide all possible resources to facilitate the highest standard of care.
• Actively seek potential staff and educate them to the highest standard.
• Participate in continuing education programs of the emergency medical services community.
• Participate in educational programs for the community regarding emergency medical care.
