Our Approach to Cardiac Testing
While a physical exam, discussion of your symptoms, and review of your medical history provide a good idea about your condition, diagnostic tests play an important role in the process.
Electrocardiograms, stress tests, and diagnostic catheterizations all give cardiologists a detailed look at the functioning of your heart and blood vessels.
These tests, along with imaging procedures such as computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), allow you and your doctor to determine the most effective course of treatment to keep you—and your heart—going strong.
