Rhonda Jordan is senior vice president and chief human resources officer for Virtua. In this role, Jordan serves as Virtua’s strategic and operational leader, setting Virtua’s vision for utilizing the organization’s people resources to achieve its mission of "Be Well, Get Well, and Stay Well." Jordan is responsible for the development and execution of the people strategy, in all aspects of Talent Management, Organizational Culture, Change and Development, Talent Acquisition and Compensation and Benefits.
Jordan brings 25 years of human resources experience to the position. For the past 16 years, she has held progressively responsible positions at Virtua including vice president, assistant vice president, and director of human resources where she provided strategic human resource partnership and oversight. Jordan has implemented talent management solutions and systems in the areas of employee and labor relations, organizational effectiveness, performance management and leadership assessment. Jordan has also been instrumental in the identification of high performers and high potential leaders, and in executive and developmental coaching. Jordan is a member of Virtua’s Board of Trustees Nominating Committee.
Prior to joining Virtua, Jordan held human resources management and leadership positions in other health care and retail industries. Jordan earned her undergraduate degree from Lamar University and received an M.S. in performance improvement and training from Capella University. Jordan is Six Sigma green belt trained and star coach certified. She is a master coach and is certified through the Success Unlimited Network.
Jordan actively volunteers in her community. For the past two years, Jordan has been a panelist for Junior Achievement’s Women’s Future Leadership Forum. She was also a panelist at Rutgers University for the Successful Women’s Forum. This past year she was a judge for the Camden’s Boys and Girls Club Youth of the Year Award. She is vice president of a local high school cheerleading booster club.
