Video: CHOP at Virtua utilizes latest technology
When it comes to the children of South Jersey, both Virtua and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia are committed to the accessibility to the best care available.
That is why CHOP at Virtua is utilizing the latest technology to remove the boundaries between highly skilled Specialist Physicians and the patients that benefit from their expertise.
CHOP at Virtua specialists routinely deliver that care bedside. And now, thanks to Telemedicine, they can do it even when not on location. The CHOP at Virtua Telemedicine program provides the ability to examine and interact with patients, families, and referring providers, remotely. Telemedicine links pediatric specialists to the patients at Virtua where their expertise can facilitate diagnosis and treatment in a way that transcends geography.
