Postpartum Depression Screening

Many women experience mood changes after having a baby. This is considered 'the baby blues' and should improve. However, if you continue to experience symptoms, you may have postpartum depression.

The Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Screen (EPDS) is a 10-question screening tool designed specifically to identify the risk of postpartum depression. The purpose and intent of the tool is to identify women at risk to reduce to the severity and the length postpartum depression though early and effective treatment.
