EMS Education Registration & Cancellation

Students not eligible for NJ EMT Training Fund:
Must pre-pay for classes in full by credit card, check, money order or purchase order. No seats will be reserved without full payment.

Students eligible to use the NJ EMT Training Fund in lieu of payment:
Must submit Training Fund Form with registration. Training Fund Forms must have ORIGINAL signatures. Copies or faxes of signatures on Training Fund Forms will not be accepted.

All course registrations must be submitted to the EMS Education Office by mail, by hand delivery (in person, UPS, FedEx, etc.), by phone (1-888-Virtua-3) or via the online classes & Events form. No fax registrations will be accepted. Available seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration must be received at least 10 business days prior to the course start date. No refunds or credits will be issued for incomplete coursework, failures or absences.

Student substitutions for a particular course are permitted up to 1 business day prior to scheduled course date without penalty. The EMS Education Department must be notified of and approve, any substitutions.

Cancellations will only be permitted 10 or more days before the course start date. A full refund, if applicable, will be issued for permitted cancellations. No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellation requests received less then 10 days prior to the course start date.

The Virtua EMS Education Department reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course due to lack of pre-registered student enrollment. Should it be necessary to cancel or reschedule a class, notification will be done ten business days prior to the course start date at which time a full refund, if applicable, will be issued. The Virtua EMS Education Department reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course due to unforeseen circumstances (like inclement weather) at any time. A full refund, if applicable, will be issued in these cases.

Pre-registered students submitting a NJ EMT Training Fund Eligibility Form will be responsible for FULL payment of all advertised course fees within 15 business days if the cancellation policy is not followed. Non-payment will result in rejection of registrations for future Virtua EMS Education Courses using the NJ EMT Training Fund until all outstanding balances are satisfied.

Students submitting a NJ EMT Training Fund Eligibility Form will be responsible for FULL payment of all advertised course fees within 15 business days in the event of incomplete course work, failure or absence (which includes "no call, no show"). Non-payment will result in rejection of registrations for future Virtua EMS Education Courses using the NJ EMT Training Fund until all outstanding balances are satisfied.
