John Kirby
Senior VP, president, Virtua Mount Holly and Willingboro hospitals

John Kirby is a senior vice president for Virtua Health and president of Virtua’s hospitals in Mount Holly and Willingboro, managing a total of 552 licensed beds.
Kirby has more than 30 years of progressive experience as an occupational therapist, director, vice president, chief operating officer, chief executive officer, and president in the non-profit, for-profit, and academic medicine sectors of healthcare.
Kirby earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Temple University and his Master’s in Business Administration from Holy Family University. In addition, he successfully completed a two-year fellowship from the Health Management Academy for hospital executives.
Kirby is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and American Occupational Therapy Association, and he serves on several boards, including the Temple University College of Public Health Board, Archbishop Ryan High School Board, and Select Medical LTACH Joint Venture Board. Kirby also holds a position as an adjunct faculty member at Temple University.
