Our Approach to Urgent Care

At Virtua, we know that health emergencies can happen anytime, anywhere. But not every issue happens when your doctor’s office is open, or requires a trip to the emergency room. That's where Virtua Urgent Care comes in.

Whether you're dealing with a nagging cough, an unexplained rash, or something a little more serious – we can get you the care you need.

• X-Rays On-site: For minor sprains, fractures, and breaks, we offer X-ray and diagnostic testing services on-site to provide you with faster results to get the care you need.
• Access to a Network of Specialists: Our urgent care clinical team works closely with a range of Virtua Health specialists.

Walk-in Hours of Operation 

Monday - Friday: 9 a.m. to 8:45 p.m.
Weekends/Holidays: 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. 

Walk-in patients are welcome at all Virtua Urgent Care locations in South Jersey but may experience wait times depending on site capacity or the medical urgency of patients already being seen. To save time, we recommend booking a reservation online before arriving.

Urgent Care Telehealth

Access quality medical care from a mobile device or desktop computer at home, at the office, or on the go with Virtua Urgent Care Telehealth.  

Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. 
Weekends/Holidays: 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.  

Please note, X-ray and radiology services are not available via telehealth.

Visitor Information

• Virtua Urgent Care treats patients ages 6 months and older.
• We accept most insurances – individual copays will apply. NJ Medicaid and Managed Medicaid Plans (including Horizon New Jersey Health, Aetna Better Health, Amerigroup, United Community Plan and Wellcare Health Plans of NJ) are also accepted. • Explore Virtua Health MyChart. Our secure online patient portal makes it easy to view your after-visit summary, schedule appointments, send messages to your care provider, access telehealth services and more – from any device.
• For orthopedic injuries, we also offer Virtua Health Ortho Express in Medford and Moorestown.
