Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT) is about more than just prescriptions.
The Virtua Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT) program, part of Virtua Behavioral Health, provides a comprehensive approach coupling highly effective medication with supportive behavioral therapy options available—designed to help people with substance use disorders manage withdrawal symptoms, prevent cravings, and achieve and maintain recovery.

Monday:
8 am to 4 pm
Our program includes treatment for a variety of substance use disorders (addictions), including opioid, alcohol, stimulants, nicotine, and cannabis. Using highly effective, FDA-approved medications and behavioral therapy, we are able to deliver compassionate, evidence-based, and innovative care based around your unique treatment goals, wherever you are on your path to recovery.
Virtua MAT services include:
- FDA-approved medications: Including, but not limited to naltrexone (Vivtrol) and buprenorphine-naloxone (Suboxone)
- Medical and psychiatric evaluation for substance use disorders
- Referral and connection to additional mental health and substance use programs as well as to supplemental services including medical appointments and social service support based on your goals for treatment
- Collaboration with primary and specialty care practitioners, mental health, and substance use programs
Medicaid and commercial insurance plans are accepted.
