Patient Instructions

Please arrive to your appointment 15 minutes early (30 minutes for MRI). Please enter through the main entrance to the hospital and report to Main Admissions. Once registered you will be directed to the radiology department. Please have a copy of your script, photo ID, and insurance card.

As a safety measure, if you are coming in for an MRI, you will need to change into a gown before your scan as newer clothing materials are known to have metallic fibers that can heat up in the MRI unit.

If you are coming in for a mammogram and you had prior breast imaging at a non-Virtua facility you will need to bring a copy of images on a CD to your appointment. Do not wear any powder, deodorant, or body lotion.
