Docs vs. Jocks Celebrity Softball Game

What are Flyers’ Wayne Simmonds, Former Eagle Barrett Brooks and St. Joe’s coach Dan D’Ambra doing on Saturday, July 16? Playing in a celebrity softball game “Docs vs. Jocks” to benefit the kids of Camden.

Sponsored by the Rebirth of Camden Foundation to benefit two organizations helping kids in Camden – Heart of Camden and Virtua Foundation – the game pits NBA, NFL, NHA and WNBA athletes against 22 Virtua physicians determined to show they can swing a bat as well as wield a scalpel.

The game starts at 2 pm at Total Turf Experience, 614 Lambs Road, Pitman, NJ, and is preceded by Family Fun Activities beginning at 11 am.
