Virtua Health Hosts 'Pop-Up' Shopping Opportunities for Fresh, Affordable Food

November 06, 2025 - South Jersey's largest health system has temporarily deployed a second Mobile Grocery Store, offering deeply discounted foods for all.

November 06, 2025

The interruption of SNAP benefits has created immediate, critical challenges for people in South Jersey and beyond. Not-for-profit Virtua Health, South Jersey’s largest health system, has responded by temporarily modifying and expanding its Eat Well food access programs for everyone.

Virtua has deployed its new Mobile Food Farmacy – a 40-foot, custom-designed vehicle – as a second Mobile Grocery Store during this period of greater need. The Mobile Food Farmacy is offering high-quality groceries at deeply discounted prices for all customers at the pop-up events below.

Food will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. Look for the large blue van with the words “Eat Well” and “Virtua Health.”
