Behavioral Health

Your Mental Health Matters

Your mental well-being is just as important to your quality of life as your physical well-being, and often life’s challenges make it difficult to keep everything in balance.

Everyday demands and expectations can be overwhelming, and early warning signs such as stress, fatigue, and isolation may not be easily recognized. At times, the support of family and friends may not be enough, and it can be difficult to go it alone. You may need help from of a team of caring and compassionate professionals–and they may be closer than you think.

At Virtua, we provide a continuum of behavioral health services for people of all ages at our campuses in Burlington and Camden counties.

Support for Postpartum Depression

The birth of a child is a life-changing event, typically filled with excitement and joy. For some women, the weeks and months after childbirth can be filled with feelings of sadness, indifference, and anxiety, as well as changes in energy, sleep, and appetite. While changing emotions are not uncommon after childbirth, these may be signs of postpartum depression.
