Home Caregiver - Virtua Service

When You Need Help Caring for an Aging Parent

Virtua Home Caregivers provide services for those who require assistance with daily living activities, for as long as they need it. Special care is provided for those challenged by Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s disease, cancer, mobility issues or end-of-life care.

These in-home services are typically an out-of-pocket expense but, in certain circumstances, may be covered by long-term care insurance. Services are provided hourly or on a live-in basis.

Services include:

  • Companionship and support
  • Dementia care
  • Bathing and dressing
  • Grocery shopping and meal preparation
  • Toilet assistance and incontinence care
  • Light housekeeping and laundry
  • Mobility and transfer assistance
  • Medication reminders
  • Attendance and support at doctor appointments
  • Respite care

All of our certified home health aides and companions are thoroughly screened, fully trained, experienced and reliable. Our qualified caregivers are insured, bonded and covered by workers' compensation.

A registered nurse provides an assessment and develops an personalized care plan. Nurses also provide in-home medication set-up and management.
