Sexual Wellness and Pelvic Health

Virtua Sexual Wellness and Pelvic Health

Specialized Care to Restore Your Sexual Well-Being

Pelvic conditions and sexual dysfunction are relatively common problems among women of all ages. It’s estimated that more than 40% of women have trouble with vaginal or pelvic discomfort and sexual function at some point in their lives. Women who experience decreased desire, difficulty with arousal or orgasm, or even pain, may delay treatment or avoid discussing these concerns with their health care provider.

At Virtua Sexual Wellness and Pelvic Health, we provide specialized care for women who are experiencing pelvic discomfort and/or concerns related to sexual function. We understand that these medical conditions influence both physical and emotional health and, fortunately, most cases are treatable. Our goal is to help women eliminate pelvic pain and restore their sexual well-being, as this can profoundly improve their relationships, self-esteem and overall quality of life.

We offer a comprehensive, holistic, and individualized approach to recovery. There are many reasons why a woman may develop pelvic pain and sexual dysfunction, and we work closely with our patients to understand the root causes of their conditions. Women can feel comfortable sharing their most sensitive concerns in our compassionate and confidential environment.

We treat a wide range of conditions, including:

  • Female sexual dysfunction
  • Pelvic, vulvar and sexual pain
  • Vulvar dermatological conditions
  • Pelvic floor dysfunction
  • Vulvodynia/vestibulodynia
  • Vaginitis
  • Interstitial cystitis

The practice is led by Virtua nurse practitioner Elizabeth Kusturiss MSN, CRNP, who sees patients in Voorhees.
