Holly's Kitchen: Cooking with Cocoa

Dark chocolate’s healthy, right? Sure - but cocoa powder packs the healthiest punch. A Virtua registered dietitian shows you how you can add it to everything from salad to steak.


Cocoa Balsamic Salad Dressing

Whisk together the following:

  • 1 1/2 T olive oil
  • 1 1/2 T balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp water
  • 1 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt/pepper to taste

This was served over a salad of mixed greens, sliced strawberries, golden raisins and slivered almonds.
