Virtua offers pediatric services, plus emergency, imaging, and neonatal care through an alliance with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Virtua is here for your child’s health needs. We offer specialized pediatric services for behavioral health, early intervention, and school therapy. And through a partnership with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), we offer pediatric emergency, diagnostic imaging, neonatal, and inpatient care.

The Virtua and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia partnership
Virtua and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) are partners in pediatric health care, which means that as a resident of South Jersey, your child has access to CHOP specialists for a variety of pediatric care services.
These services are delivered by CHOP pediatricians, neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, nurses, and specialists, who are all trained to care for children.

Neonatologists and other providers from CHOP staff our level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at our level II special care nurseries (SCNs). As part of one of the top-ranked children’s hospitals in the country, this team can provide expert care for almost any newborn or preemie condition or complication.

The CASTLE program has been a trusted provider of behavioral and mental health services for kids and teens in Camden for almost 25 years. More than 1/3 of new patient referrals come from former patients and their families. We also offer the program in Berlin.
