Virtua Health Named a Best Employer by Forbes for Seventh Year
August 25, 2025 - Recognition is a testament to Virtua's "Culture of We"
For the seventh consecutive year, Forbes magazine has named Virtua Health one of America's Best Employers in New Jersey. This prestigious recognition is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., a statistics portal and industry ranking provider.
The recognition is a testament to Virtua's "Culture of WE," a framework instituted by President and CEO Dennis W. Pullin, FACHE, to guide the organization's people-first philosophy. This culture, which emphasizes understanding, respect, and empowerment, is credited with attracting and retaining dedicated, compassionate professionals who are committed to serving the South Jersey community.
"Our colleagues are the heart of Virtua Health, and this consistent recognition from Forbes is a powerful validation of their passion and our shared commitment to creating an exceptional workplace," said Rhonda Jordan, SHRM-SCP, executive vice president and chief human resources officer. "We are immensely proud of our colleagues and will continue to invest in their growth and well-being, ensuring Virtua remains an employer of choice for years to come."
The Forbes honor is the latest in a series of awards recognizing Virtua as an exceptional employer. Virtua is featured on Newsweek’s 2025 list of America’s Greatest Workplaces, as well as the publication’s first list of America’s Greatest Workplaces in Health Care. Modern Healthcare also selected Virtua as a Best Place to Work in Healthcare, based largely on feedback from colleague surveys.
The Forbes and Statista award recipients were chosen based on an independent survey of U.S. employees from all industry sectors at companies employing more than 500 people. The evaluation included direct and indirect recommendations from employees who were asked to rate their own employers and provide feedback on work conditions, diversity, salary, and potential for development.
