Lisa Took Charge of Her Change of Life – An exuberan by Virtua story
In the winter of 2016, Lisa, 53, of Bordentown, New Jersey, could feel the change of life was taking its toll on her.
“I was a mess,” she says thinking back to that time. “I was gaining weight despite eating well and exercising. I couldn’t sleep. I was moody. I had no energy. And my hot flashes were out of control.”
After speaking with her OB/GYN, she enrolled in yoga, went to acupuncture and even added soy to her diet hoping it would help. While these methods can be helpful for many women, they didn’t work for Lisa. “I was told this is what I should expect with midlife changes and to just deal with it as best I can.”
As an educator, that answer didn’t sit well with Lisa. She decided to do some research on alternative menopause relief solutions and came upon an ad for exuberan® by Virtua, a bio-identical hormone replacement pellet therapy.
Exuberan® by Virtua has been shown to alleviate symptoms of menopause in women and andropause in men by replenishing the testosterone and estrogen women and men progressively lose in their mid-40s. Each pellet comes from organic plant materials, and is custom made according to an individual's unique body chemistry based on their overall well-being, physical exam, lab results, gender, age and weight.
Lisa and her husband attended an information session to learn more about exuberan® by Virtua, then met with lead physician, Colleen McCleery, MD. “I wasn’t sure pellet therapy was right for me, but Dr. McCleery patiently answered all of my questions. She respected me, put me at ease, and was very understanding when I said I wanted to do more research and talk with my primary doctor. I never felt pressured or rushed.”
After much consideration, Lisa decided to try exuberan® by Virtua and says she’s so glad she did. “I’m thrilled with the results. I feel more like myself again. I’m sleeping better, my hot flashes are mild and all of my other symptoms are manageable. exuberan ® by Virtua has improved my quality of life by 90%.”
And now there’s one more reason for Lisa to be happy – a new exuberan® by Virtua office is opening in Mercer County. “I didn’t mind traveling to Moorestown for the treatments, but it’s great that the office will be closer to home,” she says, “I told all of my friends that they have to try it. I would recommend this therapy to anyone who feels like midlife changes are wreaking havoc on their life. The staff is wonderful, the location is now accessible and the whole experience has changed my life for the better.”
