Healthy Tuna Veggie Salad - Virtua

Recipe - Low-Fat Tuna Veggie Salad

This healthy tuna salad with vegetables, which is lower in both fat and calories than the traditional version, substitutes plain fat-free Greek yogurt for mayo.

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 5 oz. can chunk light tuna in water drained
  • 1/4 cup yellow sweet pepper diced
  • 1 stalk celery diced
  • 1 large radish diced
  • 2 medium sweet gherkins diced
  • 2 tablespoons finely diced onions
  • 1/4 cup non fat Greek Yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon dill weed
  • 1 teaspoon Mrs. Dash original 
  • 2 tablespoons parsley flakes
  • dash of fresh ground pepper to taste

Directions:

  • Combine all ingredients and chill.  Serves 2.

  • 133 calories
  • 8 grams of carb
  • 1 gram of fat
  • 23 grams of protein
