Question of the Week

What are some signs my child may have autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and when do they appear?

Some signs to look for in your child might include lack of or inconsistent eye contact, limited vocabulary, and frequent tantrums, among others. ASD symptoms can appear in children as young as 6 months old, and identifying those traits early is an important step in making sure that children are evaluated and given the developmental tools they need to thrive as soon as possible.
